inter- is an artist-run multidisciplinary arts space in Garfield, Pittsburgh founded by Anya and Mitsuko Clarke-Verdery, Artistic Directors of MICHIYAYA Dance. Currently inter- is run collaboratively by slowdanger, anna thompson and taylor knight alongside Anya & Mitsuko.

inter- was created with dance and movement artists in mind—the studio features a specialized sprung floor. inter- is an intimate setting ideal for residencies, classes, and performances.

The name "inter-" reflects the spirit of reciprocity and mutual support the artists, fostering an environment where vibrancy and care thrive collaboratively.
