Prefab Buildings Solutions is currently midway through the full installation of a flat pack container camp including gym, dormitory and kitchen buildings at the Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania.

PBS was recently awarded a flat packed kitchen project to be delivered to the challenging Pacific island country. Production has been completed and shipping of all containerized flat packs, fittings and equipment to the prefab project site is under way.

Prefab Building Solutions has just completed a major contract in Doha, Qatar with the delivery of 182 prefabricated units for the new operations offices.
The prefab buildings, delivered in November 2015, were all flat packed with interior wiring installed for ease of on site installation. The end product, 8 separate office buildings with a total of 2,708m2, was erected and ready for use in only 1 month's time after delivery.
In addition to providing and erecting the flat packed buildings, PBS technical staff were onsite well before any of the work including procurement began.
This is the PBS standard procedure meant to ensure that the project is professionally evaluated so as to adequately capture the needs and scope with the goal of correctly advising the procurement and supply process on the products and services needed.

End of 2015 PBS delivered 2 sample fold-it prefab houses (1 x 50sqm and 1 x 100sqm) to Kolwezi in southern DRC.
The high quality finish houses were transported to the site and built in 5 days on ready made foundations by a team of local workers.
The centralized wet areas, the kitchen, cupboards and wardrobes as well as all electrical installations and ACs were pre-installed in order to provide a plug and play solution once the walls and floors had been installed.
The fold-it prefab houses were delivered in one single container each thereby achieving ample savings on transport and logistics.
The plug and play concept is in line with the PBS mission and goal of providing low-cost and viable, prefabricated buildings solutions, that can be hauled even to the remotest parts of the world, with quick installation.
Kolwezi is a city in Katanga Province in the south of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The city is an important mining center and home to an airport and a railway to Lubumbashi. As always, PBS provided full logistical support from factory to site, as well as the supervision of the entire construction.
