Congo Sample Houses
Year: 2015Project: Delivering sample houses for mining camps
Size: 1 x 50sqm and 1 x 100sqm
PBS delivered 2 sample houses (1 x 50sqm and 1 x 100sqm) to Kolwezi in southern DRC.
The high quality finish houses were transported to the site and built in 5 days on ready made foundations by a team of local workers.
The centralized wet areas, the kitchen, cupboards and wardrobes as well as all electrical installations and ACs were pre-installed in order to provide a plug and play solution once the walls and floors had been installed.
The houses were delivered in one single container each thereby achieving ample savings on transport and logistics.
